Enabling player shadow?

I've searched about a bit on it, couldn't find it anywhere, not even on Google or Steampowered...

So, is there a command to enable your own shadow, like in Doom 3? I hate viewing from the first person of others and be able to see their shadow, but not my own. I know that it might look buggy, but I still prefer it enabled.

You can't enable your own shadow as it would take away from the immersion in the game. Or at least, that's why you won't see Gordon have shadow or reflections in HL2 SP.

Nope.

You dont create splashes in the water, light in the smoke or a self shadow.

The DoD team guys said that CS: Source is trying to enable this, and they will include it in DoD: Source too. So it might be implemented in the future.
