Ending's great. *big spoilers*

I don't know what people are moaning about, I thought the ending was great, really left it on a cliff hanger, can't wait for HL3 now.

I was a bit surprised at how little a role the G-Man played, I thought we would have learnt more about him but he remained mysterious as ever, he seems to be quite powerful.

Another thing that surprised me was the lack of an ending boss, different approach I guess, but I think VALVe pulled it off, there's some great dialogue at the end.

I agree, the only reason people didnt like the ending was because the ending means the game is over

I think the Gman played a bigger role in HL2 then 1, in 1 you just see him now and again, and you talk to him at the end. In this, you talk to him TWICE!

You saw him a lot more frequently in HL1 though. So far it seems we're up to about 8 or 9 gman sightings, and as most of the ones reported are repeats, I'm not entirely sure there are many more.

And in HL1 you actually found stuff out about him - he speaks weird, he's very interested in you (you remind him of himself), and he doesn't work for Black Mesa or whatever, but someone else, and is interested in hiring you, and also that he can teleport at will (see end of Xen when he teleports you around).

In HL2 I don't think we find out anything new about him at all, except that he's put you in this situation for a reason (although he never says what it is), presumably to destroy the citadel/Dr Breen.

Yeah, just barely beat the game. What a cliffhanger! lol its like a show with ...to be continued...

Omg, I cant get over how crazy the ending was......it looks like its going to be an apoalypse, but then its like a freeze frame and you can hear him...very cool. The other cool thing is that they got rid of the boss thing. Bah I WANT HL3!!!!!!!!

The only reason I'm pissed off about the ending is that we'll know what happens next in about 5 years, when I'll be 28!!! Do you think I'll still be playing video games? I might have a family at 28 for God's sakes!!!
