Ensine error with games.

Mostley with gmod but sometimes with other source games too.I get this error."Internal driver error in IDirect3dDevice9:resent().Please help

Its pretty obvious that the smiley came up because you typed in ": P" which causes the tounge one.
Also, check what you've just written before posting it. Bad posts cause no help.

I get that error every now and then - GMod seems to be particularly susceptible to it, possibly because of all the GCFs it depends on.
Best way I've found to fix it is to exit Steam, delete SteamUI.dll, Steam_api.dll, Steam.dll, and steamclient.dll, and then restart it. It should do its fancy updating thing, then a Verify Game Cache on everything - every game you have installed - should fix.
