Entanglement Alex bug

Hey guys i have a problem
Alex, the bitch, has just showed up next to me during a loading screen in a place she should not be, just before the "control room that is still occupied", the place where you first set up turrets so alex can join you.

where she appeared and typing on a keyboard, she follows me around

she took A LOT of damage from the turrets, which were shooting at her even tho they were programmed for shooting the combine she eventually died and the game ended and im assuming that the other alex was not coming to join me so it wasn't a case of holding out

I went back a save but same thing, i'll try loading the chapter again but before that, anyone else had this problem?

Yep, but the turrets didn't kill her. You just got unlucky.

well something killed her, and she was also killed by a gate closing on top of her just before the room with turrets because i didnt realise she was under it

any one have an explanation? solution?

I had the same problem. She came into 2 levels in Entaglement where she wasn't supposed to be. The first was the level you're talking about. Thankfully, the "extra" Alyx got locked behind the gate.. and then the real Alyx came in a bit later after I mowed down a ton of combine soldiers.

Then, I think it was the next level, another Alyx spawned in at the beginning of the level.

Craziness...

Reload a previous save.

i'll try locking her behind the gate ducksauce and if that doesnt work i'll just reload the level azzOr
