Entanglement bug

Right in the beginning of the level, I jump down down in a hole, run towards the railway tracks, see Alyx on a platform. I run below the tracks and hear her saying "hold it right there" then she kills a bad guy. As I understood, she should jump down and join me.

Problem is she doesn't but stays up there and looks at me.

Any ideea?

yes, I saw screenshots with Alyx jumping down in that corner chamber to the right.

I spent 1 hour running around, waiting, shooting and doing whatever yet she doesn't join me
