Vegeta just meant a half life game in general. We don't have a name for the game yet, so people call it Episode 3 or Half life 3, its pretty much interchangable at this point. Like he said, Gabe was making a joke, and wrote the words "episode three" into a haiku, because the guy who emailed him wrote "episode three" into a haiku.
