Episode 2 estimated release?

Since Valve is currently working on it and they already have a trailer ready, how long would this come out after Episode 1? Just asking this because I think the SiN episodes are supposed to come out once every 6 months and I honestly don't want to wait that long for the HL episodes.

I have another $20 put away for this and I just want to know what the estimated time is so I could put that money towards other things.

I would guess at 6-8 months. Perhaps in time for a November release. although don't be surprised for an early 2007 release. This however is pure speculation.

We get a trailer at the end of the game for Episode 2 just like Ritual did with their SiN Emergence game.

It'll need to be a substantial gap between each episode, or else what would be the point in releasing and developing two seperate episodes? They won't have reduced their workload by rushing ep 2 out in anything less than 6 months.

I would hope within 2-3 months. If both started at the same time, I see no reason for it not to, especially with seperate teams working on it. 6-8 months is quite a wait, and kind of defeats the "episodic" feel....

Since Episode 1 is complete, isn't that team beginning on Episode 3? I'd expect to see that 6-8 months from now. Especially since the team working on Episode 2 will be joining them once Episode 2 is out the door.
