Episode 3 Trailer...

Ok, this is my thread so people can talk about the Episode 3 trailer. For example how will it go, how long will it be, how truthful it will be, who will voice over, if anyone, and will it end with a cliffhanger...

DISCUSS!!!

Ok, here is my vision of how I imagine Half Life 2 Episode 3 Trailer will go...

The screen fades from black to reveal the 'Half Life 2 Episode 3' sign, shortly followed by Eli's voice, 'You have to destroy that ship...' then a short pause of black, then 'Whatever the costs' before having the screen switch between multiple scenes such as striders walking through the snow, advisors flying over head and maybe Mossman, before ending with a sudden snap, revealing the single Lambda in the centre of the screen, (at the very end of the Hl2 credits)

well, hopefully we'll see some in-game footage. Maybe Borealis or the arctic base. Who knows?

Problem with in-game footage is it probably won't appear in the game... ironically. It's called Valve Peek.

Whatever ep3 turns out to be I'm sure I'll love it and want more and more from Valve as usual. I don't necessarily need a trailer until a few months before the game is released.

But Valve said that the reason they didnt include an Episode 3 trailer at the end of Episode 2 was because they wanted the trailer to resemble actual events in episode 3. Because the Episode 2 trailer at the end of Episode 1 was nothing like the game we know possess...

Starring King Leonidas who crushes the Striders with his pinky.

You've got Mossman & Co. possibly dying up in the arctic along with the Combine grabbing dangerous Aperture technology. Time is of the f'ing essence.

Wow, nice way to make a thread that is deceiving. There is no trailer in here! Just make the title "What SHOULD happen in Ep. 3 Trailer" so nobody has a false sense of hope about the secret VALVe has kept from the public.

Yes, that's right, the snow WILL have physics people, but that's only for those with the Ageia Processor Physics. Snow physics would be awesome.
