Episode one freezes!

Hey I've been playing ep1 and I love it, but I've been having a lot of problems today. It worked fine yesterday and last yesterday, but today it keeps freezing. It's happened four times in the past 20 minutes. HL2 freezes and I have to do a hard reset on my computer. Any idea why?

I don’t know. But I’ve found Alt, Ctrl, and Deleting back to windows and waiting a second or two fixes it for Steve.

If it’s going to happen to him It’s going to happen within the fist half-hour and it will only happen once, so It's only a small delay to me.
