I remember a error during the VERY first wave of hl2 at the release, which could be bypassed by a simple reinstall, but im not sure if this is the same error

All I know is ".ico" = icon.

Install via Steam. You'll be able to use your CD key to register it.

Its probaly a virus on my pc. I've downloaded the whole game via Steam and got an error too. And now I've tryd to install episode 1 but its downloading with a speed of.. 10.0 kb/sec
