error "I Just get "Error verifying STEAM UserID Ticket"

I Just get "Error verifying STEAM UserID Ticket(server wasunable to contact the authentication server, 27)."
when i try to connect to a server

30 mintues ago I was on playin v1.6 no problem
next time i open it.. i get the above error and its happening on all servers i try now

wtf is with this?
 
Server is loosing contact to auth server and cannot confirm your steam id.

try another server...

Ya dog mine is doing that too, ah it pisses me off, I have tried going to the support website and looking at everything there but theres nothing!! :frown: so i dunno, i was going to call the support but its Saturday. if anyone finds anything out post here, it would be a great help.

um my 1.6 was working an hour ago, ill go and check see if mines messed up.
 
yea ive got the same problem, cant connect to any servers, i managed to get into one, but was quickly rejected for the same error messgae, i was playing fine last night.

what gives? i live in croydon, london, uk, incase it is a local area problem.

this is making me mad...havent been able to play my fav games for 6 hours :angry:

yea i live in US and i just got that error message this morning, but it worked fine last night..... :flame: shall i try a reinstall???
it cuts me off right when im about to get in a server, and once i was in server for a second before i got cut off!!!! :flame: :flame: :flame:
 
Ok don't know if you guys have tried this but...

Try logging out and back in (this is not the same as restarting STEAM)

To do this:

1. Make sure you remember you're password. Username was saved for me.
2. Open STEAM
3. Select File
4. Select change user
5. A message will come up saying this will log you out of STEAM.
6. Click OK
7. Enter correct details
8. Log in.

Now after this is complate try getting into a server. This worked for me :)
 
I doubt these guys would be waiting around here for nearly a year waiting for a solution. :|

Got the same error message, couldnt connect to any server for more than 10 seconds...

tried logging out and back in to steam, and now everything works just fine again... :)
 
This has been happening to me too in the last 24 hours. I think it's not an isolated incident, and so there will be many people "searching" these keywords to get to this thread despite the 2 year gap.

Anyway, thanks for the solution.

hey guys! i had the same problem with my cs:s but today i recognized that i changed my password just before playing! steam does not change it immediately, so i needed to do it manually. now it works again wonderful.

I get the same error message and when I try again it says "client dropped by server". It used to just be every now and then but now its every server. but i think rusty999 was on too something...cause ive done that before and it seemed to help but i didnt know "Try logging out and back in (this is not the same as restarting STEAM)" I only tried restarting steam

Tell us what it does first, so we know the file is safe. I've had a peek, and it seems to be a executable file, which i can't think of a reason would fix this issue people get. Your english and smilie spam, combined with this being your first post, and hidden away in an older thread in order to make it seem blended in also add suspicion. So please could you explain how your program works, to confirm you are not a script kiddy. Thank you.
 
Ok sorry i gesus i dint give infomation basicly it edits the steam logs a .blob file
the resson you get the error is because an error that was devloped by servers that put invaild data into your Logs,.Blob This program will edit with the right data and will also soon be able to protect your acount here is a pic in action

Here are some tips to solve:

Restart steam. Close the stream from the tray, and run your game again.
Log out of steam, then log back in. Try your game again.

Close steam. Go Program Files then find ClientRegistry.blob in your steam directory and delete it. Restart steam.

Close steam. Then update your system clock and start up steam again.

If this doesn?t solve it, you should email steam / valve tech support, or go leave a post on their forums.
 
i know this is an old post. I know this is a different error I'm coming to you with.

I get the same error you guz get some times but i also get this sometimes

client delta ticks out of order.
I'm coming to you guz for help because I can't find anything on the Internet to help me out.

some post say it could. could be your router i got WBR-1310
that is a D-link. it is the newest version
Hardware Version : rev D1 Firmware Version : 4.13

Also i have bin getting this error for about 3 years now. Can't remember what i have all tryed and also.
it doesn't happen all the time some time i can play a server for 3 hours no error some time i can play any server and get the error numerous times( it's completely random).


can some one please help me.

I hate this place sometimes. I really do. Please let's remove the 'Help and Support Desk' board?
 
I had the same problem when i was playing CS:S today.
So try this, if you haven't tried already.

Exit Steam and delete the following files:

SteamUI.dll
Steam.dll
ClientRegistery.blob

Start Steam again and it should work.
