a few weeks ago,i tried launching HL2 based games like cs:s but i keep getting the error message and i can only play HL,HL2SP HL2:lost coast and cs,but the thing is i got cs for free a few months ago but the error happened way after i got cs for free,pls help me,if this has been answered already can someone give me the URL? thx:cheers:

There are thousands of errors, be specific. And what do you mean you got CS:S for free, was it via steam as a gift?

its possible that your version of cs that you got for free was a Guest Pass, which would have expired after 3 days....
