Here's a little tip for when Richard Branson finally gets his space tourism agency off the ground: in space, everything is shiny. Eternal Silence aims to capture this space-age shininess in all its glory, pitching the player into a full on space war complete with boarding actions. The screenshots shown here are of the Sheldon - apparently the largest craft in the galaxy - and the far smaller UTF Frigate. [br]

[br]You can find more info (lots) at the Eternal Silence website. The team are also looking for experienced mappers or artists or something, so if you're interested in that kind of thing, click here![br]</br>After the last update, I promise there will be no more Eternal Silence puns ever again.

I like the first picture a lot, the other ones not so much, I thought the last 2 didn't feel like the inside of a ship. They still look awesome dont get me wrong, maybe just a little "empty", I dunno...

Reminds me of NS level design. I don't like some of the textures though...

Nice new screens. Cant wait for this.

Great level design, although the textures clash. I don't know how to explain it, but the the textures sometimes don't seem to fit.

I don't really like the textures or lighting :(

Could you help us out and specify why? Thanks for the comments and crits guys, we appreciate it when it's constructive. We're trying to be very open to the community with our progress, so don't be surprised to see lots of WIP work. Anyways, thanks for the comments, we're working on it. Expect to see updated and improoved sheldon shots soon.

Wasn't this meant to go retail at some point?

I like it, the maps remind me of NS... I like the normal/specular maps they applied to some textures. The first shot could use some better lighting though, it's too bright and dull at the moment which doesn't do justice to the great brushwork. Needs more contrast!

most of the textures look like a floor texture put on the wall.
