[Euro 2004] The Netherlands - Sweden predictions

Since there are a lot of Swedes and also plenty of Dutch people on this forum, this thread seems justified

What are your expectations and predictions for this match? My prediction: 2-1 for Holland.

Hm, I'm guessing the swedes will win 2-3. They have a better defense and equal if not better attackers. But hey, who knows, luck is turning to the Dutch side

well, it's too bad it had to go to PKs.. i think sweden was the better team in that game, but holland will make for more interesting matches, since their defense is shakier and their offense is more flashy.

The game was shit, but both teams did get great chances. Bad luck on both sides. It was crap that Van Nistelrooy was 10cm offside, otherwise that goal would have counted

I hope we play better against Portugal, we HAVE to play better, and I hope v/d Meyden never gets to play again, what a screwup.

Lost interest in Euro 2004 since England went out heh. I'll just wait for the final and watch that.

Holland should go on to beat Portugal because Portugal are just an average team. I also think they should drop Van Der Meyde.

Yes! Finally we won a penaly shout out. Last 4 penalty shout-outs we all lost on big tournaments!

I think the better team won! Both teams got really good changes! We were a bit unlucky.. Robben hitting the woodwork and Nistelrooy a good change but unlucky for us the ball went next to the goal. And Sweden the same thing: Ljungberg hitting the woodwork and Larsson too.

The Dutch team was quite a bit better and attacked a bit more! Too bad our 4-3-3 system didn't worked quite well with that strong swedish defense!



But Dick Advocaat replacing Davids with Heitinga... wtf!! We should let Makaay earlier on the pitch!

We have to play better! it's always a pain in the *ss playing against a defensive team!
