In the works at the moment are plans to travel around some of Europe on the train. I'll be going for three weeks and plan to be visiting Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria.

Was just wondering if anybody here has any advice on places to visit whilst there? It will be during July

So are you traveling by plane, car, train, what?

In Poland I would recommend you visit Warsaw.


As for Romania...

Some advice:

-For the love of god don't use our trains! The Horror, etc.
-If you plan to visit the capital Bucharest I recommend you use the subway to travel around the city. I wouldn't recommend navigating through this place by car even to my worst enemy. The traffic is just horrible, add to that streets that are perpetually in construction/repairs and never get finished.

Don't get killed, robbed or both.

You won't get killed, but seriously be careful with your money/stuff. Be especially careful in public transports, and crouded places.

We'll be travelling by train for the most part using the InterRail Pass. No doubt other modes of transport will have to be used to get to some places.

At the moment we've only really got a vague route through the countries so the recommendations are very useful cheers
