I just finished watching it and this might sound incredibly sad but it's one of the best movies I've ever seen. **** that was amazing!

I'm still waiting for the Platinum DVDs to become affordable, or in a collection in the UK. Evangelion was pretty much the first Anime series I ever started watching, and because it was actually available here, I shelved it after 4 episodes so that I'd buy it when I had the money. I got distracted by other shiny things, and the tendancy for Evangelion to be remade / rereleased every 18 months. They're remaking the ending again for this one? Will the Ideon explode and take the Universe with it? Or will we go to Anime brand white floating pretension world and listen (or rather, read) poor monologues for hours on end?

My money is on them Sanitising the ending Zeta Gundam style.

Actually, I don't know anything about that at all, I just wanted to name-drop.

They are in a collection in the UK, it's another platinum edition and it's more expensive. Personally I imported the american platinum collection.
