That video I have found is pretty much true. Usually what happens is you want to do some PVP. So you go to an area you know that there is border patrol defending the land your alliance owns. You find a bunch of people and team up with them. Some stray ships may come then a whole fleet and the situation escalates. If you guys want a free trial, I can send an invite. All you really need is somebody to help you out in the game for a tad bit.

Dear god, they made this game so much more exciting then 99% of the game time you actually do. LOL.

Wow, that almost made me want to give the trial another go.
But, I'm not in the mood for learning cliffs atm.

Yeah, that is my problem with Eve as well. I started playing a trial for three or four times in the last couple of years (every time after they announced a better tutorial). It looks awesome and space games are one of my favourite genres, but I never got into this one.

Weird my reaction was the opposite. Every story I read and every story someone tells me about the game causes me to move within a millimeter of playing. I love X3, probably one of my favorite games of the last 5 years, and the stories I hear about EVE always sound like so much fun. Then I saw that video and I know now I'll never, ever play the game. Complete turn off.
