I've really been looking to get involved in this game, I heard that the community is really good and the graphics are top notch. I would like to try before I slap down some casharoos (Don't want to hamper the impending arrival of my new Geforce 6600GT now would I?) Is there any way to obtain one of those 14 day trials? Anyone have one they don't need? I'd really appreciate it, and could help you out in some way......I know I sound like a lowly beggar, but I just got my wisdom teeth out and its spring break. I need something to do!

You would get it at EvE online. Dont have the url handy but I believe you can get there by www.EvE.com or some such Google is also handy in this.

apparantly, someone who already plays the game can send out "buddy trail invites" with 14 day trial keys...

I used to be part of the Juba Corporation, a pretty big corp. I don’t play the game more though, but I heard they are still running.

Its a great game indeed, it might get a bit repetative over time, but its still a great MMO, great community too!

Alright, I got a free trial, and this game is awesome! 2nd day of play and i already have a Merlin Frigate and an Osprey Cruiser....very sweet!

Ive been playing EVE for nearly 6 months now and Im still in love with the game.There is just so much to do,see,Buy..... Its quite unlike other MMO's in that I cannot see myself ever reaching that "Uber Godlike" point in the game.

One thing though Duck is that you shouldnt rush to the biggest ship as while you might be able to get to BS size in the 14 days you will lose it the first time you undock.

Stick with the Firgates and Cruisers for at least 4 months if you intend to stay in the game as you will find you wont have the weapon and Tanking skills for anything else,the main obstacle in this game is time.

Oh and for anyone who hasnt been my avatar is a screenshot I took of the EVE-Gate for anyone planing to take a trip to the Ancestral Homeland Ill tell you this,Its a big let down.

Eve Online certainly does rock. It is beautiful, immersive, all the players (peak: 14000) are in the same game world, you can get by very well with very little fighting if you want. Simply a unique mmorpg that was too good for me.
