Anyone planning on buying this? I think i will just to try it out.

My mum will probably buy it. But I have no intention of playing any mmorpg. Imo they take too much time to complete anything more serious.

I won't buy it, for two reasons:

I'm not that set into the everquest universe and it'd probably hard to act around a bunch of everquest veterans with full knowledge of all the lore and stuff behind it, hehe

I'm very aware of the addictive nature of the game and other MMORPG's. Buying it means: Goodbye, social life and career.

I will be definitley, have you checked out the hi res videos of this game from e3 wow this game looks great and seems to play very smoothly also. I have also heard from beta testers that the game kicks total a%#. So yeah Im for sure getting this one! :smoking:

Never really liked them at all myself, till i beta tested guild wars that game is tons of fun....and from what im told everquest 2 is even better.

I will get it, I just mess around with the EverQuest 2 Char Creation Kit right now until release. I hope to be a Human Berzerker.

I never played Everquest...don't you have to pay a subscription? I will not waste $$$ per month on a game

Its $10 a month prolly, but it's well worth it.

Its EverQuest, it can't suck, 5 years straight with the highest amount of players ever and only updating graphics once. I think they know how to make a game.

well, i didnt mean suck, more like, if its worth 13 dollars (or whatever it is a month). FFXI didnt suck, but it wasnt worth my 13 dollars.

the game looks great, but i dont know if i will get it right away. i might wait for a free trial, or wait till spud gets it and check it out at his house
but by the time it comes out my mind will prolly change and ill be at the store the first day :cheers:

The first everquest blew. Asheron's Call and Ultima Online were better

I really dont like Everquest 2's graphics. The style of them is just... err wrong.
Guild Wars or WoW..now they have style that brings them to life.

They are fixing all the character models, adding more detailed skin meshes or somthing like that, getting rid of the plastic look.
I already pre-ordered the game and I am afraid of how addicting it is going to be
