Everquest 2

Alright, I've got this love/hate relationship with MMORPGs. I play them for about 6 months religously and suddenly lose all interest and begin to hate the games with the passion of a thousand firey suns. But I have to say this game really looks hot.

The graphics are just out of this world. Maybe even better than HL2. The realtime dynamic lighting really adds alot to the whole affair. The scene on the boat is absolutely amazing. Hopefully the gameplay will live up to the tech. I never played EQ but I may just give EQ2 a try.

What really gets me about EQ2 is that, holy shit, words and such coming through my speaker device!

I've never been a fan of EQ. Losing levels from dying and the grind set me off it. But then again I only did play for a few hours

Yeah, they're definitely running it on some monster hardware in that demo.

Ive been playing mmogs for 5 or so years now starting with UO and moving onto SWG a year ago. (trying a number of betas and trials along the way) Atm im sticking with SWG until I find out how well Jump to Light Speed has been done but if thats a fluff up Everquest 2 is probably where ill be moving to.
