It's been free to play for some time.. I tried it months ago and thought it was horrible.

It's like WOW but even uglier, and a much worse interface.

good to know, I'm still going to give it a whirl. I've been away from WoW for almost a year now and I'm glad I'm not in that boat anymore.

I remember when everyone was all like "EVERQUEST 2 vs WOW" as they both pretty much came out at the same time.

Within a few months it was pretty clear which one came out on top.

I can't reset my SOE password because apparently I don't know where I was born and I can't be assed to call support. So no. Was looking into Lineage II, but also lost interest in that.

I'll give it a spin, but doubt i'll play it long. Never got on the WoW wagon, and find MMO's tiresome at best. Even playing through the Elderscrolls series is beginning to get tedious. Which is strange cos I like me RPG's.

Holy crap! 13gig??? seriously??? My enthusiasm has been dampened somewhat. I may pass on this now.
