Evil Genius Demo Tommorw

Hah, that game looks pretty sweet, genocide at its best.

Excellent. Been looking forward to this.

Ooooooh. Very interested. Thnx for the heads up. :)

Most innotive game ive seen in a long time... i loved doungeon keeper, would have played it more if it wasnt for the fact that it keeps crashing on windows XP because the game isn't good enough :)

cant wait to cackle as i stroke my cat infront of a captured secret agent :)

"Do you expect me to talk?"
"No.....I expect you to DIE!"

There had better be an option to say stuff like that.

DK and DK2 were perfect games. Absolutely loved them, and I played DK2 in a 105 degree ustairs room with no air conditioning and a PC that was completely set on the floor. I had to lay down the entire time on my stomach to play. Yet, despite all the discomfort, I loved it.

Evil Genius looks awesome too, I think i'll download this demo and try it out =]

Looks cartoonish. Reminds me of City of Heroes game. Not interested. :/

Dude, you seriously only reply to threads to say you're not interested. Why do you even come to the General Gaming forum at all?

I dont like rome total war ether. I said the LOOKS the same. I never liked rpg/mmorpgs/3rd person games. I was thinking of giving Splinter cell a try but havnt got to that yet.

Wow.....you don't like RTW? That's a big surprise. You don't like RPGs, console games, 3rd person games, anything that is "cartoonish" and the only RTS you like is Command and Conquer. Seriously it must suck to be a gamer and have such limited tastes. You miss out on alot.

No not really. Iv played so many games that fall into those categories. Hitman was pretty good. Ground control was ok. Mafia was good. Games like rome total war arent bad i just dont find to much fun in playing them to long. Fps games are by far the best and most fun in my opinion.

...Basically youre the steriotypical forum gamer who likes FPS and nothing else, and hates games that are different or LOOK like theyre for kids.

thats OK, its just goot to try something different once in a while... or something good.

Can't wait for this game! My plan for world domination will be fully realized!(in a game :( )

I read about this in a gaming magazine a while ago. I've been watching out for it ever since :afro:

Ill make my post more descriptive.

This game looks great. Hopefully it will be very, very open. Allowing for complete control and the ability to do almost anything that your imagination can think of.

I want to create an impregnable fortress and then watch the poor secret agents get creamed trying to sneak in.

:O

I loved that game, I have the second one as well :)

I really like all Bullfrog games though, they just had a knack for that type of thing. Although, later theme park games (Although good) just weren't the same as the original. Heh, we had to install if from 6 floppies, because we didn't have a CD drive. I remember the CD version actually had cool little video clips for each ride. Although, I was annoyed at the fact they didn't show your ride. However, they did implement that with the new theme park, in fact I think you could walk around...

Anyway...Evil Genius. Looks good :D

Dude chill, you attack anyone who dislikes a game you don't like.
I remember i said i worry that FEAR is going to be another Doom 3 and you called me a pessimist, and that was the only bad thing i have ever said about that game. Loosen up

Anyway, Evil Genius, looks awesome, reminds me of NOLF with all that camp 70's humour

I enjoyed the story. Like someone said earlier though its like a goofy 70's spy theme. Check some reviews somewhere you might like it.

yea
it worth buying.

Am I the only one who still has a copy of Dungeon Keeper Gold? Dungeon Keeper Gold with The Deeper Dungeons, Level Editor, fully patched and Direct 3d support. :D 1997 rocked. Nothing has beaten Dungeon Keeper imo, it's still the best there ever was. I mena you could posses your own minions and run around your own dungeon and fight your enemy as the minion you possesed! Heck, you could even possess and imp and mine the rock and gold yourself. I wish they could make games like that still. Original games today = 0 :/

umm, is anyone finding gamespot's DLX services really really crappy? i've used it before but man it's gone downhill since then.

anyone got a mirror of the file anywhere?

it's supposed to be available to download from gamspot.com, but it doesn't seem to work using DLX :/ dunno what's going on.
