I've tried the demo out of this interesting game and it was undoubtedly very fun. I loved the style and music, very groovy. The demo was however abit limited and as I'm pondering on whether to buy this or not, I want to hear the opinions of people who've bought it.

I feel we need to support new and ambitious ideas like this to make them more common, it's alot more fun when developers do these kinds of experiments instead of just puking out countless Tycoon or WW2 games.

it's very fun. got it delivered this morning. although my sister has been playing it non-stop, i've had a few goes and it truly is a great game, worth buying. admittedly i can see where it would get a bit repetitive and a bit boring, but it'll last a good month or two before you'll need to 'archive' it.

Maybe I should have a peek at this game later on.

"What we are going to do tomorrow?
Trying to take over the world."

I just got the demo today and I have to say it's what I expected- Dungeon Keeper meets Austin Powers. I've wanted to place room-specific objects in my creations ever since I played the first DK- but with that in mind it makes me miss "Possession", whereby you could roam around your dungeon in a first person viewpoint.

The controls got to me at first (not used to the tag based system) but I can see the game's scope: I reckon I'll get it when I have a little more money available.

Looks fun, I will buy it when I can.

Buying it when it comes out here along with Rome : TW.

Well, ive been playing it for a bit and i must say it is very good. The demo only gives a small proportion of the game, as you get very little traps and you dont get the world map (and therefore an income). The only trouble is heat- you cant get money without attracting heat, and if it rises too high (like when i had 20 workers and 10 guards ALL in russia) they get scincerely pissed off. (NOTE: you would only get the amount of agents sent at you that were in the demo at a leter stage in the game, for at least the first half you get very little agents snooping around, unless you are very stupid and piss off all the nations within 5 minutes :) )

i had to reload my game... they sent 8 amazing agents at me in a squad, all told to shoot on sight and each armed with an M4. damn them. damn them to hell. The destroyed the entire front section of my base, and mowed through every single one of my minions- and even my henchman, nutill it was my only evil genius left and.. ohh, i dont even want to remember it. damn those russians. I'll get them back soon enough... muuhahaha... MUHAHAHAH!

anyway where was i? oh yes, the game! yes, buy it. 'tis fun.

Suicide! m8ty!, but hows the replay value though ? :)

I wanna see them make a WW2 Tycoon game. See how many crappy shooter clones you can pump out and watch them hit the shelves in GLORIOUS REAL TIME 3D.

dunno, havent got tht far through... but i wouldnt think its would be too good, as there isnt a sandbox mode or anything- the singleplayer game is all you can do. You could allways just buy it from virgin megastores which give a full refend garantee if you dont like it for a month :)

Great game. After a while you may find it getting repetitive until you start unlocking new stuff with the lab. Then ofcourse we have no Sandbox game mode.

Otherwise great game heres some screenies of my base I just took. It may look like I have trouble with funds. Howether, I bring in 20,000 every minute.

Anyone want to offer any advice on the best way to set up a trap/base layout so that your traps don't take out half of your guys when the enemy agents set them off?

I made two entrances. One was a decoy that my minions couldn't use (Security level 3) that all the enemy minions would use and wipe themselves out. Otherwise just experiment.

Oh and btw 1/2 way through the game you switch to a bigger island.
