I was a bit surprised by this news, when was the last time Microsoft had a PC Exclusive title? With this title and Fable 3 coming to the PC, GFWL fanboys are saying "See? See? Microsoft actually *cares* about PC Gaming!". I will admit that these 2 titles are a decent step in the right direction for supporting the PC, but only if they keep up with releasing more titles for the PC. From what I am reading, alot of people seem to be exited with this title.

There are GFWL fanboys?

There are GFWL fanboys?

Afraid so, though I am hard pressed to find anyone that likes GFWL outside of the Games for Windows forums. I like to visit the forums there for a few laughs, considering that they think Microsoft is doing plenty to help PC Gaming, that GFWL will help save PC Gaming, and that Steam is crap compared to GFWL.

Yeah, they're called "viral advertisers".

Actually, I have a feeling a few of those fanatical fanboys may be PR Shills trying to pass themselves off as Fans.

looks kiddie, sure will be and that will be theyr idea of "pc support"

I loved Age of Empires, I might keep an eye out for this.

Yeah, I too love the AoE games, but this looks like...well, it's hard to say right now. Sounds overly-ambitious and looks overly cartoony, but I suppose if a group could pull something like this off it would be the Ensemble guys. One to watch I guess...while I am playing Civ V. :E

I hope it's more like AOE 1 and 2 than AOE 3.

Frankly I'm not finding myself excited, but I'm more a fan of large-scale RTS (or really good, non-RPG RTT) and RPG elements like quests and crafting are usually pretty lost on me. I'm also not really a fan of the art style. Still I'll be keeping an eye on this.
