Okay I just wanted to tell everyone to people who hate DOOM 3 graphics or Half Life 2 graphics. The games are both good and are very nice looking. But if Half Life 2 had DOOM 3's Graphics it would not be Half Life 2 anymore. Each game has its own graphics style and HL2's fits very well. Its a very good graphics. While DOOM 3 is trying to aim its graphics at darkness and detail. If DooM 3 had HL2's graphics its would not be a scary game anymore. Graphics make up a feel around the game and atmosphere. Both Half Life 2 and DOOM 3 have good graphics and there is not better or worser graphics in either of those games. DooM 3 is nothing revolutanioray, same old (go to a room - kill, go to a room - kill - etc..) So is Half Life 2. DooM 3 is trying to be immersive with its graphics and scarness. I am 100% sure both games are very immersive especially Half Life 2 with striders. People there is no better or worser game between DooM 3 and Half Life 2. They are both aiming at diffrent things and diffrent aspects. Ofcourse if people like Horror Action they willl defently love DooM 3. If a person is looking for a adventurus and immersive more realistic and monstorus world they will pick up Half Life 2 and will like it better than DooM 3. Here is my opinion --
When I was 6-10 years old me and my dad used to love doom 1 and doom 2 and we still love it we alwayz playde it together. But one day my dad comes in and gives me a new PC game and it was the first Half Life. That time i was between 7-10 or 8-10, I playde Half Life and I loved it every minute off it was immersive and I felt like I was not at home i felt i was fighting zombies, and all kinds of creepy alien creatures. Half life 1 just was great and it still is. I beat it over more than 4 or 5 times. And I defently cant wait for Half Life 2. When DooM 3 was near the release I was very hyped but when I beat it I said to myself this is not DooM anymore this is some Scary Hell Demon thing its a good game very nice looking, but DooM 3 let me down. What I was expecting is a bit more enemies, hordes of monsters, DooM 3 was missing that old piece of gameplay that it had in DooM 1 and DooM 2. But its a good game just not what I thought it would be. Half Life 2 so far what I have seen is starts out same as Half Life 1 on the train and I seen more footage of Half Life 2 than of DooM 3. And I know that Half Life 2 is still keeping that old great gameplay and style, while DooM 3 was missing something. Both good, but I am going for Half Life 2 more and I have told you why
