extract polygons (delete)

hi when i right click inside xsi i dont get a menu it just selects or deselects whatever i clicked on so i just use the menu on the left for everything. but now i need to extract polygons (delete) but on the menu there isnt an extract polygons (delete) or (keep) does anyone know how to get it so the menu apears when i right click or where i can find the extract polygons.

dont worry ive figured it out you can delete this topic now or whatever. incase anyone has this problem when trying to select part of a poly mesh and then make it a seperate mesh you select the part you need to seperate make sure extended componant selection is not checked in the select menu and right click on the highlighted part and do disconect componants. then rightclick on it again and do extract (delete).
