F.E.A.R, Doom3 Resurrection Of Evil, Brothers in Arms

I had just finished watching the some game trailers on the 2005 JUNE edition disc of Pc User, there was F.E.A.R ( First Encounter Assualt Recon ), Doom3: resurrection of Evil and Brother in Arms the offical trailer. :sniper:
All these games look dam good, iam going to have to get all 3 of them.......F.E.A.R graphis and phycis looks dam sweet it will be the first to be ticked off my list. :P
 
Doom3:ROE has been out for quite a while now, its supposed to be pretty much a cheap add-on, so if you never liked Doom3 then i doubt you'd like Doom3:ROE.

As for F.E.A.R...well, the game looks amazing :D i think most people here will get it and its made by Monolith, who made AvP1 and 2, which were really good SP FPS.
 
Yeah well just by the trailer i say on Dvd disc iam getting it...but not for pc my pc wont be able to handle and the awsome graphics so aim going to get them on Xbox.
 
i thought brothers in arms was crap, it just gathers dust in my drawer.
havent played roe, i hear its pretty much like doom 3 but with more actionl ess scares, like alig said if you didnt like d3 you wont like it.
we're all waiting for fear.
 
The doom 3 Resurrecion of evils has a rip-off of the gravity gun.. you can pick some enemies and throw them about, you can pick up barrels and throw them and also grab some enemies attacks and throw it back at them....along with some awsome new weapons.

Brothers in Arms...i did not like at first but once i was the trailer in knew there and then that i was onday going to get it, i usually dont like the games set in the Good Old Days.

F.E.A.R well it just looks like a dam sweet shooting game filled with a large range of enemies form humas to mutants and some hellish looking chracters.
Along with some awsome graphics and physic's it looks to be one hell of a ride.
 
Doom 3 RoE - Awsome.

BiA - Wierdly, I found it to be boring, shooting at a block of wood over and over to scare off the enemy...

F.E.A.R - I will need $10,000 to run this game kthx

What on earth do you need $10,000 for to make it run, this is one reason iam getting it for my xbox, Because my computer is heap of poopy :P
 
Doom3:ROE - awesome if you loved Doom3, probably not worth it if you didn't like Doom3. Basically, it's more of the same plus a kickass weapon plus some more intense action... but same overall style. Buy if you liked Doom3.
FEAR - if it's as good as it looks, it will be a damn good game. Realistic looking graphics and physics and the action is probably good too!

realistic looking? I dont think so

many things looks real but in overall it dont look so realistic,looks very similiar to doom3 engine
 
Doom 3 ROE was great.
F.E.A.R i cant wait for.!
 
FEAR is fantastic but you need to get the best graphics card there is, and even then you won't be able to play with options like antialiasing ... it's just soooooooo slow. I mean I've tried running the benchmark intergrated in the beta, and at medium settings, without vsync, no antialiasing, no anisotropic filtering I get 40 fps! And if I turn on antialiasing, let's say 4x, my average must be around 20 fps.

Watching that demo run on your computer is like the worst of your nightmares.
 
Looks like F.E.A.R is only comming on pc ;( i was hoping to get it on xbox.
The reason for this i did a search ay gamespot and it only came up on PC.

i read that the poor performance was coz ati cards weren't optimised, no need to fret yet.
 
I just finished BiA, it stands as one of my fav games next to HL2, COD Singleplayer, and EVE online......wow, the graphics were decent, but I did enjoy the incredible realism of the game, and the tactical stuff was just plain fun is most parts. Fun game to pickup if you get it cheap, but I wouldnt spend too much on it.

But even at medium settings it looks very nice! :cheese:
 
the grabber made ROE better than Doom3 itself..but the grabber is no Gravity Gun!!

think Super Gravity Gun and thats what you get from the first time use of the weapon..

just don't carry certain things for too long..like explosive barrels for example..ouch

also its kind of sketchy to aim projectiles back at enemies sometimes because of the "sway"
