F.E.A.R positional audio issues

I have a 7.1 surround sound speaker system and only one of the speakers is playing audio in fear. The front 3 speakers and specifically the very center seem to be playing all the sounds. I have a creative audigy 2 zs and a creative 7.1 speaker system. Anyone else having this issue?

Did you set your 7.1 surround sound setup in Control Panel?

-> Control Panel
-> Sounds and Audio Devices
-> Advanced... under 'Speaker settings'
-> 7.1 home theater speakers
-> OK
-> OK

Yeah, I did that. I was thinking that I sould update my drivers and see if that works; ill get back to you and tell how it went.
