F.E.A.R, S.T.A.L.K.E.R or Pariah?

These games are the next big things for the PC........I have seen screenshots of fear and to me it just looks like farcry (It may use the far cry engine, I don't know) Pariah looks pretty **** as it looks like they are trying to remake halo for the PC.



Stalker looks awesome, really awesome....I have numerous gameplay videos and it is dripping with atmosphere.

yeah it probably wont look as good when it comes out in 2027.. seriously its been pretty delayed already, and i havnt seen any press releases for a while about it...

pariah looks decent, graphics wise. won't comment on the gameplay, it doesnt really inspire much confidence atm

TBH I haven't seen Fear moving yet only screenshots, I'll go look now.

Yeah, I'll probably buy all three as well When you've been deprived of good games for as long as PC gamers have then you'll buy any old S*it.

Stalker, definately. I have been looking forward to the game for a long time, even before I knew about HL2 actually I think. There are alot of naysayers, but I will stay true to it, for it does look very promising indeed.

HL2 does kinda look like stalker graphically but the gameplay will hopefully be much less linear than HL2 is....I really hope stalker accomplishes that.

STALKER could potentially be a truly revolutionary FPS experience if GSC pulls it off correctly. But I only hope GSC's reach has not exceeded their grasp because from what I can tell all of their very ambitious gameplay elements have to come together just right for it to work.

I do wish them the very best of luck though!

Never heard or read up on anything about this Pariah but i'll definately be getting FEAR and STALKER. Both look way to good to pass up and screenies don't do FEAR any justice, you really have to watch the video's to see what all the fuss is about.

FEAR...mainly because it's made by Monolith.

STALKER and GSC reminds me of Soldners and Jowood. It might be good, but then again...it might....not. If they can pull it off, then it would be my vote.

Pariah looks awesome....but who knows that will turn out...with all the other games Groove has made.

STALKER. FEAR doesnt reallly intrest me and i havent seen anything about this Pariah game.

Both stalker and fear look very good. Wether they will be fantastic games or forgettable depends on gameplay that cannot be judged before we actually have the games and can play them. For me I must say that fear looks like my gaming dream come true. All that debris, smoke, and blood is right up my alley. (Let's just hope it's not too scary too often... *shudder*)

Pariah is less interesting as it is basically a singleplayer tc on the ut2004 engine, but if they get a good feel in the game it could ofcourse be a good title (along the lines of quake 2 - nothing mindblowing, but worth the time and money).
