F.E.A.R. specs?

anyone know the system requirements for F.E.A.R.? I look elsewhere and found some (hopefully) bogus specs that were:
3.0 Ghz
2 GB of RAM
1 GB hard drive space
512 MB RAM video card

don't flame me on these, i know they're fake and i'm not posting them for hype.

Well, I could run the MP BETA with everything except the res MAXED at a stable 30-40 FPS on my comp.
2.5Ghz Pentium 4
512MB RAM
ATI Radeon 9800Pro
I hope that atleast helps you somewhat.

I don't think those requirements are bogus, they give the reqs on the readme when you install the beta.

2.8 Pentium 4
1GB RAM
5200FX (Soon to change)

So I hope I can run it.

I hear they're aiming for the same kind of specs that Half-Life 2 had. So most likely it will end up being just a touch better.

A crapload of people ran the MP beta at 20fps for the most part. Glad to hear they tweaked the engine out a bit.

yeah if you had a ati card i heard, they said the beta wasnt optimised at all for ati's but they have a deal with them now so woot.

That's one dayam small hard drive. I'd say no if thats real .

I....aquired...the F.E.A.R. multiplayer beta...and since I was on my own...I couldn't get a PERFECT example of frame rates..but it ran pretty stable with everything on medium...

p4 2.8
512 meg PC2100
9600XT

So yeah, HL ran about the same...so it's probably equal.

Everything ran very smoothly during our playtest, and although the game stutters a bit when auto-saving, it otherwise ran great. Of course, we were running on top-end systems. However, the code isn't final at this point and the team said it wouldn't require a $4000 rig to play well. We were told that "if you could run Half-Life 2 last year, you'll be able to run F.E.A.R.."

I would of thought if you were able to run Doom3, then you would be able to run this, after all the shading system for FEAR is more similar in respect to the Doom3 engine
