I get over 1000!!! e-mails an HOUR, yes an hour from www.trafficwave.net, e-mails are all random address so I cant block them :flame: , I may have to change my e-mail, but that would cause chaos, since I have registerd to so many things including my e-mail, is there a way of stopping it ?, ive e-mailed the admin of www.trafficwave.net, but ill doubt ill get a response ;( , god i'm pi**ed off right now :flame:

erm, Simmo, I can solve you problem:
www.mailwasher.net it's great for getting rid of spam. It's free too, as long as it's not a hotmail adress (you have to pay for that feature). It lets youbounce back the email BEFORE it reaches your computer, thereby creating the impression that your adress doesn't exsist. Therefore stopping spam. It works. Simple.

Edit: Ok, this is my on topic edit to make up for my stupid post.
I don't get that much spam in my inbox (on hotmail) because most of it goes to my junk mail folder and whenever I do get any in my inbox, I block it. Although it doesn't hlep much because they change their addresses all the time. I used to get worse spam though, where they try to make you think it's an e-mail from a friend by putting RE: at the beginging so you think it's a reply from something you sent and when they have dodgy subjects like one I go which said "Thanks for last night" and then you open it and it says "You can have many good nights too with blah blah". Mainly now, I just get porn and penis enlargement ones. At least the PHD ones have stopped though.

I found that it's always best to have two email addresses.
One addy for registering at forums, registering software, contests, newsletters, etc. This email address usually gets alot of spam. Another addy for close freinds/family and work. This never ends up getting any spam.
