I work late tonight, and have to get up early to go back to work. Everyone was saying "have a happy new years!!!" when they were leaving... and I really wanted to say the phrase you used for this thread's title. And I do agree with you... all celebrations are stupid. I hate christmas... hate new years. Not because people have fun those nights, but because people think its the only time you can have fun or be happy. Instead of buying a bajillion and a half presents in december... give a present whever you want to during the year. Instead of seeing your family once a year, get together during a weekend once in awhile. I hate how everyone thinks you need a holidy to have an excuse to enjoy yourself. Thats not how life should be.

The only reason tonight is special, is because the Giants are playing, and my whole family will be at our house to watch it
