hey guys, i've recently only had this error message whenever starting up a source engine/hl2 game.

Failed to set video mode - resetting to defaults
Game will now restart with the new video settings

i've never got this message before.it only happened after i baught BF2 and installed it.i did update my graphics card drivers and im sure it instealled directx 9.0c

so im guessing it has to do something with the drivers that i recently installed.but i also don't really wanna mess around with it because then it may mess up BF2...

my current video card is a GeForce 5500

You might not be able to play BF2, I don't know.
