Just wondering how many fans of this show there are here :D

And also what are your favourite Seasons/episodes? :)

I'm rather liking the way Season 5 is shaping up.. the BBC is supposed to be showing it now ~ bit odd for them but hey, it's all good :)

I'm not a fan. I find the humor rather unhumorous.

Family guy owns. I find the original seasons to be a bit funnier but it's still the best thingo n TV. Too many favorite episodes and quotes to pick.

I find the newer episodes far surpass the old ones. I'm loving it all <3.

I love this series, I just wish I could catch it on more.

I just loved the bit in the new series with Stewie and Will Ferrel :D

It went on for way too long tho, the same as the Bin-Laden sketch last week. I chuckled for about 30 seconds and for the rest of it was like *SIGGGGGGHHHHH*

The Bin Laden sketch was overdrawn yes.. I didn't find the Will Ferrel one the same though.. not sure why :p

You not a fan of the new eps?

Also what do you lot think of the Family Guy movie?

I don't like the new eps nearly as much as the old ones. They draw out jokes too long in the new season and some of their stuff is just weird now.

Best thing of the newer episodes, "Rock Lobster"

The movie was pretty good. It had some hilarious bits and some lame ones.

I love that Rock Lobster bit. New episodes are far better than the old ones. Easily.

Yes! :D

Quagmire gets me everytime. The movie was OKish, had its moments though...

"Hey Quagmire, isn't there an 'o' in country?"

Yeah the new eps have a few laughs in them.. definitely worth a watch.

Quagmire FTW still tho.

bbc are only showing series 3 at the moment and American Dad.

movie was a dissapointment, i have only seen a few from series 4 and 5, seem good though

Rock Lobster does rock. And I thought the Bin Laden thing was one of the funniest bits ever. :D

I find it generally pretty unfunny, but it always has a couple of moments that make me laugh out loud. I think American Dad is a lot better, but Futurama is aeons ahead.

"Look! I'm writing profanity on the wall!"

POPPYCOCK

Season 4 don't you mean?

Family Guy! Family Guy!! Love it. Only seen a few of the new episodes, when is Season 4 airing in England?

Family Guy in its newer seasons has been fairly on and off. Some of the gags that they've been doing this season seem to drag on and on and on, much longer than they should. Family Guy can provide some of the most hilarious moments in cartoon history, but with this new season, comedy seems to be less consistent. I think the show is slowly coming in danger of being too stupid for its own good. The core characters, like Stewie, are becoming inconsistent and secondary characters (like Quaigmire, Joe, Clevlend, even Adam West) are seen less and less. It would be unfortunate if Family Guy veered into Simpsons territory and go past its prime.

American Dad on the other hand has only gotten better with time. The characters are starting to get some real depth to them (well, except for the talking fish :P ). The writers are getting more confident and the characters' voices feel more natural.

Speaking of voices, does anyone else find it weird when Peter Griffin just suddenly starts talking like Stan Smith? I know they're both voiced by the same guy, but it bugs the hell out of me when Peter suddenly drops to a lower monotone and speaks at the rapid pace that Stan Smith is so accustomed to. :rooling:

Futurama should also be renewed, especially considering that King Of The Hill is in its final season. Simpsons, Futurama, Family Guy, and American Dad would combine for a great 2 hours of cartoon comedy. :D

I love family guy, the guys I live with love family guy. The result is every new episode if we aren't busy means we gather a few people together make popcorn, drink beer and watch family guy.

Sundays rule. :D

Family Guy has to be one of my favorite shows on television atm, its ****ing hilarious, although alittle bland at times i must say, but but other than that the best show on TV

i love FG.

saw it the first time in german here on tv ... i almost throwed the TV out of the window :O the synch voices are that bad, nobody can imagine how bad they are ... so bad.

anyway ... now i got season 1 to 3 on dvd ... rocks.
I agree with A True Canadian. It seems that FG isnt getting any better with the time :/ But atm its still funny, i think season 5 is better then the 4th.
Besides that I just love it. Thats the all the humor ive missed in Simpsons over the years.

How 'bout that sideboob? That turn you on? Well it shouldn't. That's my sideboob.

I love Family Guy.

"Oh Reginald...I disagree!"

Ahh...you can't beat a good ole drive by argument.

Family Guy rules. The newest episodes I find the funnier of them all. I rather enjoy the long, drawn out ones. They make me laugh more.

Kinda like seeing a kid with downs syndrome playing with a stick.

Family Guy's great, but I've lately found myself more attracted to the irreverent strangeness of Wonder Showzen.

That show scares me.

Haha. Wonder Showzen owns. Wonder Showzen owns all.

It's an American show. So that may explain why.

It's like a kid's show parody, but with far more subversive content. Wether it be letters having sex, a knife fight breaking out between the alphabet and numbers, suicide, mockery of religion, racism, or whatever, I think each episode is well within its capabilities of offending somebody.

I don't even find it all that funny half the time. Just bizarre. Like watching the United States turn into a monster, piss on Mexico, eat South America, have sex with Europe, make a babies in the Middle East, and then blow up the world. WTF.

did you have to choose between internet or rented tv?
or can you pick up the uni wireless in the barracks/residences (i assume you're on campus being a newbie and all..)
