:( I need help!! Okay the fan on my graphics card died out, you know the fan on the heatsink. But the thing is I have a side case fan blowing right by it and a PCI cyclone blower right next to my videocard. Should I find a replacement for my broken GPU fan or everything should be fine? I haven't notice any performance drops, but who knows if this will decrease the video cards life, by alot?

You should replace it immediately before it starts to damage itself. When the fan on my 9600 Pro died, I went out and got a $10 replacement fan. The replacement worked rather well.

What video card do you have?

:p I've a 9800 Pro, but I just need it to last me a couple more days until I can get an x800 Pro or XT when they hit stores.

If you're seeing no artifacts or performance oddities, you should be fine. Provided you have that external fan blowing into your case whenever your system is on, you should be okay.

Artifacts are the tell-tale signs, if you're getting them, you need to check your cooling.

If you don't mind it overheating when you're playing a game for awhile then you should be fine.

If you want to keep the card you should look into getting a new fan. I would recomend this even if your going to get a new card soon. You can sell the old one for some good money. :)

You might want to call ATI up and ask them how to get a new part.
