Ok I found out the fan thats behind my HD with hitting some cables. It was making a lot of noise so I wanted to go back there and move them. The HD was blocking my way back to the fan so I was going to take our the HD for a minute and move the cords then put it back in. I took off the first side panel and removed the two screw. I coninued to remove the second side panel but theres a problem. Theres a metal sheet blocking that whole side so I can't get to the screws. Can I get past this sheet? I unplugged the fan so it stopped making noises, I don't think it'll do any damage if its unplugged it shouldn't get that hot. So how do I get past that sheet so I can plug my fan back in.

1) can you remove the harddrive rack?
2) are there holes that may allow you to access the HDD screws from an angle?
3) does your case have a removable mainboard tray?
4) Who the hell picked that case?
If you say Dell/HP/Compaq then that explains everything.

Have a look to see if the front panel comes off, I was working on my friends evesham the other day and the only way to get to the screws on the other side was 2 remove the plastic panel from the front.
