In computers..... does all fans should be sending airs out of the case? or half airing in the case and half airing out of the case? i'm new in building / upgrading / fixing computers so some 1 plz help me coz i have 2 fans. 1 on the side and 1 on the back but the 1 on the side doesn't work anymore and also the 1 on the back and the 1 on the side doesn't look like it's on the same way......

And also can some 1 tell me which side is the air going out? like where the fan power line is ..... is dat side where the air goes out? or goes in?

You should have the fan on teh side as an intake fan and the one on teh back to take air out the case. With fans, you should try and balance the number of fans you have so if you have 2 intake fans, then its a good idea to have 2 blowing air out the case.

if you look at the fan in the pic, http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/uvfanred.jpg, the air would be blown down away from teh camera if you know what i mean, hope taht helps

Just put your hand by the fan, The one at the back should blow air out of the case towards your hand. The one on the side (even though its broke) Should blow in.

Most fans have 2 arrows on the side of them, telling you which way the fan rotates and which way the air blows through the fan.

The typical case arrangment is to have the front and side fans bring air into the case but the rear fans and top fans pushing air out of the case.
To give ya a mental picture, the airflow snakes from the bottom-front of the case to the GFX card then up to the CPU and out the back.
