Does anyone know how I can listen to it without playing the game, I extracted it but I can't figure out how to open it

why not just record it to a WAV using the soundcard as an input then encode it to MP3?

i think the music from far cry is in ogg format so search for ogg vorbis decoders....or download winamp...

i think winamp plays oggs without having to ass about

Find an OGG converter, there's plenty of them around.

just looked it up, you nbeed to open the "Music.pak" file using winrar which is in the *Program Files*\Ubisoft\Crytek\Far Cry\FCData folder, once open go to "Music>>MENU" and the file you want is "Menumusic_shortversion.ogg" - one of the best title track in a game i've heard
