Far Cry release set for Q1 2004

lol, I didn't know you could hanglide in the game.

have you seen the german video of farcry?

it shows how the far distance you can snipe from so far away.
 
this game sounds familiar, does your character change appearance based on your actions?

Me too, but I still want it. The characters dont look right or move right. But everything else just makes that not mater at all.
 
well it seems so many promising games are coming out starting in '04 and gamers may have to decide where their money goes.. unless u have un-limited amounts of it and can afford them all..

seriously.. from a list as impressive as this:

HL2
Doom3
Far Cry
STALKER
Thief 3
Deuz Ex
Bloodlines
Quake4

and im sure theres games i missed.. anyway, some gamers will have to choose which to get.. because not all of us have that kinda money to spend..

bah.. hate to say it but Far Cry might be one of those games for me..

The only game I know of that will have that is Fable for xbox...and that is near the top of my want-list.
 
Quake 4 in 2004? Hope is there, but it's unlikely. To be honest I'd say a Quater 1 2005 release would be more probable. Quater 4 2004 absolutely earliest.

Fable's going to be fuggin' awesome. Might be the one RPG (besides Final Phantasy Online v.1 and v.2 fox Dreamcast R.I.P. <3 <3) that I actually will buy and play for more than 2 weeks.
 
Oh, and honestly I'm not that excited about Far Cry. Nothing in it has really impressed me yet...

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. looks pretty damn awesome. Doom III's scary as hell, and will be sick too.

My want-list right now is...
1.) Half-Life 2
2.) DOOM III
3.) S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
 
FarCry looks like it has serious potential.

1. Fable
2. HL2
3. Halo 2
4. MGS 3
5. FarCry

EDIT: I haven't even looked too much into STALKER...can someone give me a quick run-down of what's gonna be cool about it (apart from graphics)?
 
I didn't know we were counting Xbox games, too! :(

Halo 2 and Fable are somewhere in my want-list too. :D

Halo 2 looks cool, but it's only on X-Box. God damn I hate the X-box, I hate it so much.
 
Because I can't afford to buy it, so I'll have to wait a million years for a PC port of Halo 2.
 
No love for Dues Ex 2? Shit its my #1 right now, especially since ut2k4 got pushed back ;( .
