Follow up to the other thread (I'd of added another comment there, but, thought this deserved its own topic). Now everyone who was American and complaining doesn't have to complain anymore..

On the plus side, Badger is still stuck with having to buy a DVD drive lol

Buy it! They are pretty cool. One day I got punished from the TV, so I took out a DVD and popped it in my computer. I wasn't exactly watching TV.

You can get one cheaper than the game you know

There is absolutely NO reason why a computer user shouldnt already have or afford a DVD player. If you have the machine to run Far Cry, not to mention the money to buy Far Cry, you sure as hell has the money to buy a DVD player. If you got a tight budget, then it would have to be tighter than... Well, I cant think of a good thing that isnt nasty :E
Hell, you can even get a DVDRW burner for the price of 2 Far Cry here!

Well i already have a DVD drive so makes no difference.

DVD drives are pretty useful though, because even if you dont have any DVD's, you can borrow them, and you will have DVD's in the near future if you keep playing games and buying films.

Yeah, I'm pondering this too. I'd imagine it'll get released in Europe before/around the same time as America, seeing as how Crytek is a German company..

Anyhow, either way, I hope they released a DVD and CD choice in America.. I'm tired of CDs and crappy jewel cases
