Fastest internet router?

It enables the entire printed collection of the Library of Congress to be downloaded in just over one second; every man, woman and child in China to make a video call, simultaneously; and every motion picture ever created to be streamed in less than four minutes.

I can only hope these would be installed everywhere where the older routers are.

Wouldn't all the cables have to be replaced for that thing to world as intended? Or is it wireless?

Most of the infrastructure is fiber optic I think. At least here in the states.

Actually to be honest, I don't know.

I want one.
NOW.

What use would you have for it? This isn't a personal router like you use at home. These are the routers that your data passes through before coming to you or going out to where it needs to go. The "hops" along the way.

Is this going to be one of those things that never actually come out?

This will be limited by the cables that are connecting everything. On average fiber optic can handle around 10 terrabits from what I recall depending on the distance. Sounds really high but when you hook up millions of connections to that the number isn't that big.

This.

But the max downspeed I get is 310 kb/s....I just wish I had FiOS.

Pfft. I overclocked my 200MHz router to 384MHz. I mean, really, 384MHz ought to be enough for anyone.

Apparently to design a band that was this broad they had to work closely with YOUR MOTHER.

This.

I get about 10MB/s dl speed on a good day, but when it's overloaded, especially from European servers, it gets down to a mere 1MB/s.

HAHA WOW...just 2 months ago I helped my team assemble and bring up 2 CRS-2 routers in our lab and already cisco came out with the CRS-3. Everyone on my team are happy and pissed at the same time haha.

The CRS-2 routers are 1.5 million a piece.

This.

To be able to watch a JAV the instant I discover it... Oh god.
That will be a great world.

Still downloading one of these DANDY JAVs JESUS HURRY UP I WANT TO SEE THE JAPANESE MATURE GIRL AND THE BLACK !!!! HURRY! PATIENCE IS LIMITED.

Holy shit someone else who likes JAV enough to know some studios.

DANDY is great, but I was never into JAV with black guys. I get the appeal, but it's just not my thing.

I have FiOS.

Haha.
That doesn't make other people upload to you faster.

Yeah I have a pretty damn fast internet connection. The problem is finding a source where you can max it out. If a torrent has a ton of seeds I can usually get pretty close. Your average http download typically sucks unless it's from a file hosting website. Steam is pretty good too, it just depends how busy they are.
