Fatal Error When i try to update Steam.

When i open steam to update it, it reach 99% And Says : "fatal error : Unable to open SteamUI.dll for writing "
Please somebody help me :bonce:

Make sure that file is even there. And possibly check to make sure it isn't marked as "Read Only". These may be stupid suggestions, but seeing as how no one else has replied, I thought I might try to help. Have you tried going to steampowered.com's forums? Might get better help there.
