They're jolly good fun. Some of the better games I've ever played for PS2.
If you haven't heard of them, Fatal Frame and Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly are these somewhat freaky games out of Japan where you use a camera with exorcist powers to fight ghosts by trapping their souls on film.
I've played and beaten both, and they're very good. I just finished Crimson Butterfly.
It's a weird combination of Resident Evil and Silent Hill style third-person with much better combat with the first-person camera. The graphics are quite nice too. They also get bonus points for being somewhat scarier, and having solid plots.
MechaG says: pick up both next time you're at your rental outlet of choice. Each game has about 14 hours of quality fun.
