I had the one album - forgot it's name now, and I can't see it on my shelf at the moment - that I picked up in HMV for a fiver on impulse a few years ago. Had a guy lying in the desert on his back, I think? Anyway, didn't like it much. Nothing memorable, nothing jumped out at me... meh, haven't listened to it since. Disapointing, considering how much I see praised about them. I guess I'll stick with Pumpkin's out of the big grunge bands.

Mine would be "Don't Follow" or anything of the SAP EP or Jar Of Flies EP...then again I love "Again", the video for that is badass.

TheAntipop, that'd be the album Dirt. It's their most popular album but it's my least favourite. Their acoustic EP's as I mentioned earlier are really good, you shouldn't write them off because Alice were a pretty capable and diverse band and they had a lot more to them than "Rooster" and "Them Bones".

That album contains some of their best songs. Listen to it again. Junkhead, Down in a Hole, Rooster, Would etc, all their biggest hits.

I think there was perhaps one song that I did like - or at least, preferred above the rest. I don't know. What album should I try other than Dirt then?

Btw I had a feeling it was called that, but I was thinking ''don't they have an album called Jar of Dirt? Or is it Flies?'' and my common sense was telling me they wouldn't have two albums around dirt. :| My bad.

Facelift is their first album. Try that out. It isn't as slow as some of their other stuff.

I like James Hetfield and love metallica, but I don't really care for the way he sings Would?. Its not bad, it just sounds so out of place without Layne singing it.
