Which is your favorite class in BF2

What's your favorite class in BF2 and why?

For me its definatley Special forces for being so flexible. The class can simply tackle almost every situation in the game.
Its got a scope for long distance, 3 modes of fire (single shot, three round burst, full auto), grenades for taking out clustered groups, people behind cover, or stationary jeeps, its got a silenced pistol for killing without attracting too much attention, and its got the det packs for running up and planting on tanks, attaching to jeeps as a suicide bomb, and for use as landmines. Best class hands down.

Wudda you guys think?
 
Medic, I love helping my teammates. Even though Im never lucky enough to group with Amish, Mr Re and Devi.. or somthing I forget his name.
 
I don't really have a single favorite class, I play all of them. I haven't played the engineer for more than 5 minutes.
 
Engy is only a "Pick it when your commander really needs it" class. My fav is medic. Assault is fun, but as far as team-help, unless your squad is being overrun with buggies (nade-launcher really useful for that), you're not that useful.
 
Medic's awesome, good gun, and that warm tingly feeling inside when you bring someone back to life. (heaps of points too :))
 
I have used all of these pretty evenly so far.

Special Forces is my most used, because the C4 and the main gun are alot of fun.

Sniper I use a lot when defending the construction site or attacking the beach.

Assault I often use as a nice to change to SF. In fact, I prefer the US Assault weapon to the SF one.

Support is probably my least used, but if I know I will be riding in a vehicle that allows shooting, I grab Support because it's probably the best in that respect.

Engineer is great fun if you know how to use the shotgun effectively. I find it great for attacking bases. Especially the hotel... for some reason it does well there.

Medic is pretty pointless for me, because I find myself getting killed when healing people. I do like the guns though.

Ant-Tank is probably my favourite, but least functional for most things. I just love the power of firing rockets at troops and vehicles alike. I have become quite adept at shooting helicopters out of the sky.
 
I like assault for USMC, and spec ops for MEC.

I'm a grunt at heart. I like being in the midst of the firefight, and I'm damn good at it too :D

and Ritz is a f*cking good medic, shes revived me many times. Course, except when she gets her ass blown up and then I'm all by myself...
 
I'm always medic. I'm not so good at shooting people on the ground myself, but I can keep the people who are good at it on their feet and in the fight.
 
Medic or Spec Ops... sometimes im Assault, i <3 the grenade launcher. Im hankering to unlock that L85 for medic though.
 
I also like popping out of buildings/corners weilding an RPG... ohh the fun :p
 
Anti-Tank.
Those poor people, just about to enter a vehicle when *KAPOW!* right in there faces. :E

I cant stand anti tank. I hate having to rely on other people for health.

Yeah, I like having Mr. Red as a squad leader. I'm usually in his squad, either that or being owned by it.

I play a medic as well, love the class. I just wish it had a better main weapon for long distance pot shots.
 
Oh, and my second favorite is Assault. Grenade launcher rocks. I have gotten some massively long double kills with that.

Don't really know. They all seem very well balanced.....maybe.....Medic though as i'm great with healing others.
 
I kind of wish you could give people aids like in TFC ;\
 
Eh, SpecOps for me, so fun to suicide bomb... :D

I can't stand Assault... the gun is three-round burst and I can't hit ANYTHING with that nade launcher. If I could, that'd be my favorite.

The medic in TFC was awesome....wtf couldn't they do? They could give AIDs, fly away...umm, well I guess that is all they really ever did...but they usually flew away with the flag.

Yup, fly. Those conc jump maps were so much fun, but people got too damn good at it.
 
assault when usmc i play as most, just coz i like to take flags and stuff.

when mec ive recently taken up support as i love the ak47 with bipod and 100 round barrels, great for defending flags, particurly the crane flag from the nearby buildings and for providing base of fire in assaults(although you never hit anything hardly they're so inaccurate)
 
Support, simply because he is an essential part of the squad... and no one ever plays him but me :P (I don't mind though)

squad leader if I have a choice :) boat driver if we can nab one, and Blackhawk pilot if there aren't any stinky blues in there
 
Medic, because people start begging you to revive them.

Nah, just a good class imo. Healing yourself, others, M16/AK is nice (beats smgs).
 
Seems i've been playing AT on alot of the servers we've been going on, even though its not my favorite class :-P I'd sooner choose assault or medic.

:( I know I have asked you to go anti tank the last couple games, but that's only because I know I can rely on you as that class (you're a damn good Anti-Tank)
when I see two of one class I want to get it sorted out as quickly as possible, especially if we lack any of the 4 essential classes.
 
Anti-tank, all im there for is to blow up that tank or apc, smg is sucky and everything else but gotta keep the team alive!
 
I prefer Spec-Ops, although I play assault as well sometimes.

Edit: Seems we have a lot of Spec Ops :O I might have to start playing sniper and do some spotting.
 
Spec Ops after the situation were a Tank heading down the street by construction site (I'd just taken it solo after killing 3 guys defending it 8) It drove past me as I put 2 det packs on it. Blew it to kingdom come.

That sold me on Spec Ops as my fav, Plus I love Commando Raids to blow up the enemies radar >:)

However I'm flexible so anythings good for me
 
I'm usually Anti-Tank or Medic. Occasionally I get up to some mischief with Spec Ops though :)

That said, most of the time I'm flying helicopters anyway, I'm getting pretty decent with them now :D
