Well, I finished my first week of school for the new year. Here are my classes listed in order of how much I like them.

1) Advanced Tax
2) Electoral Behavior
3) Undergraduate Thesis (beginning research to see if the Statement of Cash flow is a predictor of bankrupcy)
4) Global Business Integration
5) Accounting Technology

Of the five, the only one I don't like is Accounting Technology. I absolutely love the rest of my classes.

What are your favorite classes?

Here's mine after the first four days of classes, in order...

1) Philosophy - Intro to Ethics (Good professor, makin' me think, interesting reading so far...)
2) General Psychology (Professor says mmmmkay a lot... seems to be really good, though. :P)
3) English - Exposition and Argumentation (less than 20 people in this one... only one that's not a huge class)
4) Anthropology (Professor has a humongous accent! :O)

They could quite possibly flip-flop around a bit by the end of the semester, though. :P And yes, only four (12 hours)... I'm takin' it easy first semester. :)

my college ****ed me over and im not going back till jan. ****ing pricks

I haven't started school... but I ****ing hate it, everyone is such a ****ing asshole, half of them deserve to be shot.

I hated high school with a passion. But I love college. College is way more difficult than high school, but you get to take classes (through your major) that interest you.

I only took 13 hours my first semester at college. Great fun because you aren't to stressed out about classes. (Please tell me you are in a dorm) :D

I purposely stayed away from philosophy. I heard it is the most boring class in existence.

Watch out for your first mid-terms. They blew me away on how much more difficult they are at college. :|

Taking the intro to Comp. Science. Have to take that before anything else in the Comp. Sci. field.

Intro to Public Speaking (Bleh...)

Pre-Calc (Already took calc in high school and applied calc in college...but this is a pre-req. for Calc 1)

History of the US since 1877

The only real fun classes I'm taking this semester are Mathematical Physics and Linear Algebra.

Nothing at the moment, but unlike Foxtrot I don't mind HS starting in a week. My guess is that this will be my list:

1. Honors Government
2. AP Euro History
3. Analytical Geometry & Calc
4. Honors English

Pretty tough first semester lineup. But then my second semester is a breeze:

1. AP Computer Science AB
2. Webscripting 2H
3. AP Euro
4. Anthropology

And then I'm off to college.

1. 3D Modelling and Animation Concepts
2. Abnormal Psychology
3. Design Processes and Concepts
4. Color Theory
5. Personality and Adjustment

that's the order after one week.

I am not playing football this year so in a way it takesa lot of pressure off my shoulders (and I get to sleep in on weekends). My favorite class is History. Worst class: Math by far.

my worst classes so far have to be introduction to cobol and basic account. cobol because the os we ran it on sucks and accounting because it was boring and i couldnt understand half the things the instructor said with his accent

What is your major? Those seem like pretty cool classes.

Lower level accounting pretty much sucks. It is all book keeping. Higher level accounting courses deal with more theorectical type stuff (ie. how do you handle these complex situations without breaking the law, but making your firm look good).

I wish I could take a programming class. Too bad I don't have any more electives. Accounting as a major only gave me a few electives then joining the honors college took away the rest. I had actually planned my senior year to have 3 elective classes. Now I have none.

I like AP Euro History. It is way different than a typical high school history class. You learn a lot of stuff in their.
