Favorite Classic Rock Band?

For me, it's definitely the Velvet Underground. A band much ahead of their time. While the other bands focused on the lighter side of things, VU were pretty dark with their talk of drugs, sadomasochism, and the like. Though, thats not to say they didn't have their light sided and innocent songs as well .
