Favorite CS:S Map

Just wondering what people think now that the update has been released. I think compound is pretty cool but still prefer dust and office.

EDIT: o yea whats that one map with a bunch of houses and looks like it takes place in italy, but its not cs_italy

i keep forgetting the name of that map

dust2, but the new one is good too, just not as good as the classic

My favorite map for CS:S would have been Dust2 if they did a direct port like they did with every other map, but Valve royally ****ed it up so my favorite is Train.

I'm really liking cs_compound.. I was winning at like, 14:1 a few rounds into my first time playing it

atm...im really liking the Train map alot [the gfx engine really shines on this stage, but i still play with it all turned down]...lots of places to go....and you can be really stealthy cuz its dark

de_chateau......absolutly beautiful on source. I used to hate that map but now it is one of my fav's :thumbs:

I still can't wait to see what they do with some of the old maps like de_nuke and militia.....I'm assuming/hoping these will be remade

I like scoutzknifez at the moment. But, if it has to be a real map, I would choose de_dust.

hm. de_dust and de_dust2. i hate de_aztec because it's so dark at the water point i need nightvision.

Train was my favorite in 1.6. It's my favorite in CSS too. I love the whole stalk and kill feel to it.

Im liking train, but the classic italy is my favorite.. de_torn would be reallly cool.. I am in the process of making maps.. i jsut accept nuthing less than perfection, so its hard for me to release anything

i'd have to say for source it's a tie. Aztec and Cbble. I HATED Aztec in 1.6, the lack of darkness and being T was just near impossible to win....now you can rush water succesfully! And cbble..well come on, it's cbble, just 1337 there.

Let me guess, you were on the terrorist team?

It's a nice map, but really hard for the CT. As a terro I was running up the stairs at the start of the round and managed to kill CT's before they left their respawn.

It's not that bad for CT's as long as you leave a couple of snipers covering the windows.
