I love my 80gb maxtor SATA drive. I would have preferred WD, but i wanted SATA anc couldnt afford more then 80gb, and WD didnt have a 80gb model.

seagate is the best, omg, serious, maxtor and especially western digital are more prone to failure

Heh, i'm about to buy a WD 40GB 7200rpm w/ 8mb buffer for $56. It's a great deal :)

I have mostly WD drives, and they have all been excellent... Except one, my 80gb drive that doesnt work in this computer. So I'm using a 20gb drive instead. Brings a new meaning to the terms "megabyte budget" :)

heh. I have a 40gb dive currently, and i run with 400mb free. I need this new hdd. :)
