Favorite movie based on a Stephen King story?

I've been a fan of Mr. King's work since I first started reading real books, and I've seen every movie based on his stories. Some have been excellent, while many were either just good, mediocre, or just plain bad.

For me, it would have to be Stand by Me. As much as I love Shawshank, Carrie and It, I've watched Stand by Me at least 10 times and I still think it's excellent.

The Shining

While it didn't follow the book throughout, it is one of the few horror movies ever made that actually makes my heartbeat increase.

Shawshank Redemption was made by Stephen King?

It's one of my favorite movies, but I went with IT.

The Mist, The Green Mile, Stand by Me, and Shawshank are all amazing.

I enjoyed the sequel they did to Firestarter too.

Dreamcatcher and It were absolutely terrible.

I thought Dreamcatcher had interesting bits that were all somehow stuck together in the same movie. It made it feel different than many other movies with a similar premise, but it kinda just ended up all over the place.

Also its hard for me to rate something like the Shining against something like Shawshank or the Green Mile. They're all classics, but I can't say which is "better."

I voted Shawshank on a 50/50 flip with the Shining. They're both tied for my favorite, and Green Mile would be my second.
